Another great wedding!

Elizabeth and Patrick, these two are amazing. There wasn’t a dry eye in the church during this ceremony. The officiant was telling their story, and man was it a tear jerker! I knew these two were very special, but after spending this day with them, I definitely under estimated them. They kept things simple at their wedding. Focusing on friends and family, you can tell how close nit this group is. I was very lucky to be a part of their day.

We were lucky enough to shoot a wedding recently at a family farm house, one of my favorite wedding locations to date, not to mention what a great time! This beautiful home was located somewhere in TN, that I cannot even remember how I got there. Nestled between some hills, we had to drive what seemed like a few miles on gravel roads to reach this location. Man was it worth it! something that stood out at this wedding, that is unlike any other I have been to, (which is a lot!), was how easy going the entire day was. There were several places for people to mingle and relax at this awesome location, and there was a real calm to everything. Never was anything rushed, and I never saw anyone that seemed stressed. It was really a neat, care free day, where these two great people became one. I hope you enjoy some of our pictures below…

My Kind of Wedding!

My wife and I, several moons ago decided to forgo the headache of a big wedding, instead deciding to elope, and head straight for the honeymoon! We had a blast! Well this couple, Christina and Greg had a similar idea. They planned a nice trip the Gatlinburg, and while the opposite of most, got hitched right at the end. They did a great job however, looking fantastic, and they were quite the couple. Get a room guys! They were off the charts, if you know what I mean! I wish them a wonderful future together, and had a great time capturing this day in their lives. Check out some of the pictures below!

Another wedding for the history books. The day was hot, and the sun was high! two things photographers hate! They kicked things off with a beautiful ceremony. After, they rode in style to the Fox Den Country club, where they celebrated! The dance floor was full most of the night, all ages of course. I enjoyed being a part of their day, and hope they enjoy all the photographs.

Lunday Wedding

Well how ever could I forget to post such a great wedding! The Lundays! Complete with golf cart to get around this huge venue up in the mountains. It didn’t take long to realize that the guys can jump high in the air for some fun pictures, one even looking like he could levitate.

We had a great time doing pictures, a bit sunny, but I think we got some great shots! Another day well spent with a great couple! I hope you enjoy their pictures.

Jennifer and Johnny, What a great couple! These two just got hitched last weekend in Harriman TN. Their wedding was fantastic! They kicked it off with a slide show that showcased their lives together, and of course some of the engagement photos we took a few months ago. It was a great way to kick off the wedding.

Weather didn’t cooperate with us. The day started perfectly but once we were ready to begin, the sky opened up. It finally tapered off during the reception, but unfortunately is was dark outside by this time.

The reception took place at the church in a jym. You would never know it was in such a place. It had white fabric draped all over, giving it the appearance of being inside a tent! They put christmas lights on the other side of the fabric which shined thru, added to the ambiance. How cool was this place! The caterer did a good job, and the excitement was helped by the DJ.

I want to congratulate the newlyweds, and wish them good luck!

Rachel and David’s Big day!

Well, another great day and another fantastic wedding! The sun was bright but the temperature mild. The ceremony took place in the groom’s father’s back yard. What a view! The reception took place at Calhouns on the River.

Okay, this is one of the neatest things I have seen at a reception, and it is defenitely worth sharing. As you know, when ever the glasses are clanked, the newlyweds have to kiss. Well, they put a special twist on this. They had the names of all the attending couples. Whenever the glasses rang loud, they drew a couple’s name from a basket. This couple would have to kiss, and however they kissed, was the same way the newlyweds were to kiss. It started off with some regular kisses, but as the night progressed, the kisses got more and more elaborate, until finally making it to the final kiss from David’s Dad and Mom. They did a choreographed routine, starting with kisses up her arm, a little rodeo rangling, among other things, and finished off with a BIG WET ONE! Joy and Bryan’s Wedding

Well, the day has finally come. It started as a small wedding, but as the father of the bride told me, it just kept on growing as most things do. They had a fantastic ceremony at Joy’s father’s house, followed with a reception outside in the back yard. It was a little steamy that day, but they had some great coolers in the tent, and the shade was certainly nice.

I told her dad that he should rent out his home for ceremonies. The spiral staircase and the large open living room was perfect for a reception. They were defenitely lucky to have such a great location so close by!

Joy and Brian had originally picked out the wedding ring together. What Joy didn’t know, was Brian had been saving up for a much nicer ring. She had no idea, and when he presented the ring to during the ceremony, she actually screamed!

Jessica and Robert’s Wedding

We have certainly been lucky with the weather this year! With all the weddings we have been doing, not one has had bad weather. That must be good karma! Everyone we have photographed has been so nice. That makes our job so much more rewarding! Robert and Jessica are no exception to this rule. Getting married in May in Clinton TN, they had a wonderful ceremony at their church. We then moved to a relative’s backyard for the reception. Often times, after engagement photos, wedding portraits, family pictures, and all the other pictures we take, couples have had enough. That wasn’t the case with this group. They kept asking for more and more, and who am I to say no? We captured alot of great moments, plus did alot of really fun pictures. In fact, this is defenitely the first time I have ever photographed a bride wizzing by on a dirt bike! Angela and Michael’s Wedding day!

What an honor is was to be a part of this day. Michael has just returned from Iraq less than a week ago! Angela has been working hard to plan their wedding, and I think it went off without a hitch. Something new to us, we did both the photography and the entertainment! We had a blast and would like to thank the two of them for allowing us to provide both of these services at their wedding.

I loved the music they had at their ceremony. I’m not sure but I think they are close friends of theirs. They did a wonderful job of creating the mood! Not to mention the singing was fantastic.
